LARRY GRAY has impressive skills and uncommon versatility on bass. The Ramsey Lewis Trio aptly displays these on Appassionato. Larry has shared the stage with such greats as Clark Terry, Joe Henderson and Bobby Hutcherson. He has performed at all the major clubs and jazz festivals in the world and has also studied drums, guitar, flute and piano whilst earning a masters degree in violoncello performance. This world-renowned musician often plays at the prestigious Chicago Jazz Showcase; we welcome him back aboard the SUN.
